KPV
KPV: A three-amino-acid fragment associated with alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone.
What is it?
A three-amino-acid fragment associated with alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone.
How it is studied
KPV is investigated in inflammatory signalling and experimental gut-related models.
What the evidence says
The evidence is predominantly preclinical. A change in a laboratory inflammation marker does not by itself demonstrate improvement in a human disease.
What remains uncertain
Human outcomes, interactions, and long-term safety are poorly characterized. Findings for alpha-MSH as a whole cannot automatically be assigned to this fragment or to blends containing it.
